Brands

At Kansas Cattle Company, the agricultural way of life is a part of our family history. The brands our cattle bear are a sign of the legacy of excellent cattlemen and women who have come before us…

The 7H Brand

7H Brand registered by the Twyla Hoobler Wagner Trust in 1994 - Kansas Cattle Company - Mulvane, KS

Our family originally registered this brand with the Kansas Department of Agriculture in the early 1950s, and the brand has remained in our family since that time. Shelly’s grandfather, Harry Wagner, registered the brand first, and maintained it until his death in 1994. After his passing, Shelly’s grandmother changed the name on the brand registration to Twyla Hoobler Wagner Trust. We have maintained the brand and registered in under that name continually since 1994.

1989 & 2003 – Latham, Kansas and Mulvane, Kansas

After Harry sold his herd, Twyla continued to raise Angus cattle on the family farm in Mulvane, Kansas and on pasture she purchased in Latham, Kansas. Twyla retired her cow herd in 2008, but she still cares for her son’s (Curt Hoobler) cows and calves on her grass all summer. On most warm days, you can find Twyla tending to her grass and fence. Her water gaps are always clean, her pens and corner posts are painted a bright silver. Her pasture and her cattle have always been her top priority!
